radiator pipe insert change
Curtis
pipes are well-known for their inability to
have the insert changed easily.
In fact,
for the average pipe-smoker, it's almost
impossible even to open the aluminum bowl.
Originally,
they were equipped, not with a briar insert,
but with an inferior wooden bowl, not
withstanding intensive smoking, well
contradicting the complex build of this pipe.
These briar
inserts cannot be ordered as such, for the
construction needs to be to an accuracy of
0,1mm.
If you like your Curtis, and would love to
have it equipped with a new briar insert,
please send the complete bowl to me, without
any removable parts.
